The Seasoned Chef has now retired.

Thank you to all my lovely clients who I have had the pleasure of cooking for over the years.  I have enjoyed every minute of my cooking journey.

HOW IT WORKS


  • Contact me to let me know the date and type of meal or event you are thinking of.  I'll ask you to take a look at my menu suggestions or we can discuss a menu of your choice. 

  • We can then arrange to meet face to face (depending on location) or have a call to discuss your requirements.  I can advise on dishes that work well together and we can discuss and agree the menu and costs.  I'll confirm everything to you in an email.

  • On the day, I will arrive at your venue a maximum of two hours before you want to eat.  I will usually ask that you make at least one shelf available in the fridge for me to use. As much as possible is prepared beforehand, but all final cooking and prep is done on site.
 
  • ​I can bring cutlery and crockery if required but I will leave glasses and drinks to you to arrange.  I work closely with a local wine merchant if you would like me to put you in touch for some expert advice. 
 
  • Most people like to lay their own table, but let me know in advance if you need me to do that for you. I will leave your kitchen as I find it and all washing up and rubbish will be taken away.  

The aim is for you to relax and enjoy your event without having to worry about a thing. 

Once we have agreed a menu, I will ask for a £50 deposit to secure the booking.

PRICE GUIDE

Private Chef lunch
For dinner parties of six or more, costs start from £65 per head. My prices are based on everyone having the same menu (except for dietary requirements) and depend on the menu choice.

For less than six people, I charge a flat rate of £400 plus ingredients and travel costs. 

 
As well as dinner parties, I'm also happy to discuss and provide costs for any other private catering requirements you may have including canape parties and picnics.

I know that dietary requirements are an important part of menu planning, so I will work with you to ensure that the needs of all your guests are met and that their meals are an appetising part of the menu.
