Having qualified at the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School, I worked for Mark Greenaway at Bistro Moderne in Edinburgh and then at an award winning restaurant on the Suffolk heritage coast. Additional experience comes from specialist courses with the best in the industry – Nick Nairn, Rick Stein, Thane Prince and Raymond Blanc.
Having always been passionate about cookery, I took the plunge in 2007 and gave up my established trading career in the city and ran a ski chalet for 23 with my wife in the French Alps and have been back for several years since.
My extensive experience as a private chef covers lunches, dinner parties, celebration meals for 40, small weddings and BBQ’s.
I am based in Essex and Suffolk but available to travel.
